Reminder about the Transitus
(Birthday of St
Francis into Eternal Life)
on Wednesday October 3rd at 7:30 pm
The Transitus is a Franciscan devotion to ritually remember
the passing of Saint Francis from this life into God.
It specifies the
living memory of Francis; it intensifies our commitment to follow Christ in the
way of the poor man of Assisi.
The Transitus will take place at St
Crispin’s Friary 420 East 156th Street, Bronx, NY 10455 at 7:30 pm.
