Just wanted to clarify a little my own personal feeling on going public with an abortion
I am not adverse to people being public..I
think it is great, I have been doing Silent No More and Operation Outcry myself for
years.I am only adverse to them going public before
they have gone through healing or to people saying you cannot be healed
unless you go public..that is not true…our healing comes because of what Jesus
did not because of what we do.I would never presume to know what God wants of another soul and each of us has their own circumstances, families etc that would alter things.

Not everyone may be called to go public and I feel it
is unfair to make them think they are… it is hard enough to look at an aboriton experience without the added stress of thinking you are doing another wrong thing if you do not want to go public. I believe each person has to discern
with God and a director to see if it is God's will for them.

Much harm has come to some and
their families (especially other children) because they wanted to be accepted and felt they had to go
public. To me this is just another exploitation of women and something I never want to be part of.

It is true that the truth will set you free, but the truth can be told in many different ways, in retreats, one to one with people we know and share with, in counseling, through writing and yes, through public testimony…there are a ton of different ways. I trust that God in His mercy will lead each person to the way He choses to work in their life…hope that clarifies things…
