I just returned from Boston where I did a workshop on "Men and Abortion" with Julia of the Washington Diocese for the USCCB's annual Diocesan Pro-Life Leadership Conference.
I made a lot of great connections and met many really wonderful people working to bring God's mercy to others. It is truly humbling and hopeful to see the progress in reaching out to those hurting from abortion. It has truly become one of the primary focuses in pro-life ministry. Praise God!
Here are some of the Diocesan pro-life leaders representing Buffalo, Newark, Bridgeport, New Orleans, & Arlington.
This is the pyx over the altar in the Chapel at the Boston Diocese where the Blessed Sacrament is reposed.
Cardinal O'Malley celebrated mass for us and gave a beautiful homily.
Many thanks to Tom Grenchik, Deirdre McQuade, Mary McClusky, Kimberly Baker, Marilyn from the Boston Diocese, and everyone else who worked so hard to put this together!
Please keep them all in prayer as the conference is still going on as they get into other areas.
Now it's off to RI!
