Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

I had a wonderful day this past Saturday at the Respect Life Conference in Meriden, Connecticut where I was blessed to present a workshop on "Reaching Out to Those Who Have Been Touched By Abortion." The workshop focused on the fact that many people who have been involved in abortion often feel stuck in the middle because of the messages they receive from both the pro-abortion and pro-life sides.  The workshop then offers practial ways of reaching out to bring healing to those who are hdruing through churches, families, and communities. Praise be to God, there was a lot of very positive feedback from those in attendance, who expressed plans to incproprate the suggestions into the prolife work that they do.

A highlight of the day was meeting Jeanne Monahan, the new President of the March for Life, who gave a great keynote. Please remember to keep the organizers of this great event in prayer as they continue their work for the Lord and prepare for March for Life 2014!

I was also blessed to spend some time speaking with Ambassador Alan Keyes.  What a dynamic talk he gave! His knowledge of the Constitution, his love for Christ, and his ability to tie it all into the events unfolding in our country were eye opening and inspiring!

All-in-all, it was a really wonderful day for life! Thanks to Mary and all who invited me to be there.  What wonderful warriors of Life for Christ!
