From March 13-14, 2014, Pope Francis has called for churches worldwide to participate in 24 hours of adoration and a chance to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

What a beautiful thing to have churches all over the world adoring and offering God's mercy in this beautiful time of lent. Pope Francis has consistently spoken of God's mercy. What an awesome way for the church to join together in prayer.

 
It has been a blessing to know this initiative will be taking place during our first ever postabortive sibling weekend retreat. March 13th is also the day I renew my consecration to Mary each year so, it has a special significance to me. Lastly, it is the day a very wonderful priest and good friend of mine passed away, Fr Michael Sepp.
 
May we join in adoration during this time, thanking the Lord for His mercy for us.
