you invade a woman's

                        womb

make her womb

                        a tragic tomb

for her unborn child

                        to die

and forever tell

                        a lie                            

that no one ever

                        lived

or struggled to

                        survive

a wretched story

                        told

and no glory

                        to enfold

just the death

                        all the while

of this women

                        and her child

she cannot turn

                        back time

for the action

                        she took

gave her no

                        alibi

not the baby

                        will not live

no mother's hope

                        to give

just the invasion

                        of her womb

which is now

                        a woman's tomb.
