Today is the Feast Day of St Maximilian Kolbe who gave his life for a stranger in the German Camp of Auschwitz.

As we see the horrific videos made on Planned Parenthood we know that St Maximilian also lived in a time where people were slaughtered. He is a great saint to pray to for intercession as we continue to confront the evil of abortion and Planned Parenthood.

St Maximilian, who had a great devotion to Our Lady also began the Knights of the Immaculata, dedicated to serving her and evangelizing.

On this eve of the Assumption of Our Lady and the Feast of St Maximilian may we invoke their special protection and pray for the grace and courage to serve according to God's will.
