The Immaculate Conception
For as long as I can remember, I have said a prayer daily for purity that I found in a very old book. It is from St Alphonsus Liguori to the Immaculate Conception.
In this day and age I have no doubt she has protected me greatly from many a fall by this prayer. I know when I first returned to the church this was a real struggle for me as it is with so many people.
I also said it for my children.
It is very simple but very powerful.
Prayer for Purity
Three Hail Mary's each one followed by this…
"By thy Immaculate Conception, O Mary, make my body pure and my soul holy."
