2016 – September 8 – 2017 is the Jubilee year of the 300th anniversary of the Coronation of the Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Czestochowa with Papal crowns. This celebration took place in 1717 in Czestochowa, Poland. The crowns were sent by Pope Clemens XI. It was for the first time in the history that such an event took place outside of Rome. Today we wish to honor Mary, not with golden crowns, but with our life in accord with the Gospel. St. Irenaeus said that „The glory of God is man fully alive”. In order for this to happen, we need a continuous repentance. That is why we would like to offer our spiritual gifts to the Blessed Mother – because they show whether Mary truly reigns in our life.
