Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

So, I am now doing a plug for an awesome CD!

Michael Corsini is not new to the  Entering Canaan Ministry. He has provided music and helped with our retreats for well over a decade, beginning when he was a CFR. 

Michael actually began the sibling retreats with me, now in their 8 year, and has played for our women's and men's retreats. He is also on the Advisory Board of Reclaiming Our Children (ROC).

Michael is a talented musician and artist and can be found leading many a Holy Hour and Catholic Underground Central in Scarsdale, NY. His new CD "Brightfire" is filled with beautiful original songs accompanied by acoustical guitar.

One of my favorite tracks on the CD is "Waiting in The Wound". The lyrics touch the soul of those who have struggled with healing from abortion and relationship with God although it can be applied to any wound.

"You were hiding in the wound that I hide from You, inviting me to find You"

How many of us suffering from a past abortion hide from God, yet it is in that very place we flee from that we find Him and our healing…as He waits for us.. (word has it Jessie, Michael's wife was key in this beautiful song-thanks Jessie!)

There are many other beautiful songs on the CD…Get it…it won't disappoint.
