Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

And nowhere to go.

So, as most of you know I was scheduled to make a trip to Japan for a few weeks to visit my family. It did not happen. Even our best paid plans can change and show us once again God is in charge.

Since the incident of the burn on my foot and fighting that infection I have not been feeling well. Seems infection after infection has followed and I was forced to cancel my plans per medical advice.

It has been hard. I miss my grandchildren and was so looking forward to seeing them and exploring Japan with them, but obviously God had other plans. 

This "surrender" to His will is not always easy. At times I have found myself trying to manipulate to see when I can go now, but the bottom line is, I have no idea. It can be in a few weeks, it may be in a few months, I need to just "be" and trust that whenever it is it is in God's perfect time

So, I hope to be back at work Monday (we'll see) continuing healing and allowing my immune system to get strong again. In the scheme of things I am fortunate..I never would have been able to make it there or even enjoy myself and time will heal me.

Let go and let God. It is not always easy but it is always the best choice…a surrender to the love I know He has for me. Jesus I trust in you!
