Even now, says the LORD,
return to me with your whole heart,
for I am gracious and merciful.

Restoring the Rose

A rosebud once blossomed

and became a rose

but lost its red petals

to a horror it chose

Someone plucked little rosebuds

before they could bloom

and left in their place

only sorrow and gloom

But petal by petal

a strong Gardener's hand

Refashioned the flower

that was meant for His Land

And no more did that flower

have to dread what it chose

for ever and ever now

she was His rose.
