Do not weep for me today
Just hold me in your heart
For although you cannot see me
We are never far apart

Your suffering, your anguish
Block my love from reaching you
And though it is ok to mourn
His love will see you through

My prayer for you this Mother's Day
Is that you feel His grace
And know our hearts desire your peace
Until you see His face

We pray that you can feel our love
And know our hearts desire
Is that you find the peace of Christ
And expel the evil liar

One day soon we will unite
And share His beatific vision
No more will you be afraid
Or feel this earths division

For you will come to see through this
His never failing cross
Has led us to His merciful heart
Where nothing’s “definitively lost”

So instead of shedding tears today
Or focusing on what‘s not here
Unite yourself with Jesus Christ
and you will find me there

United by the Bread of life
I’m loving you through Him
Who cleanses us of every ill
And wipes away our sin

So peace to you this Mother’s Day
Rest in His warm embrace
Where we will meet in just a while
Through His unfailing grace!
