What awesome wonder comes our way
Through Jesus’ birth on Christmas Day  
Our God of mercy seeks to bring
His presence through our newborn King

No sin too great could thwart His plan
Of love immense for every man
Though through our sin we were defiled
Through Jesus’ birth we’re reconciled

Just hear the unborn children sing
“Glory to our newborn king”
And parents who had lived despair
Know that salvation now is here

United in an act of love
Sent down to us from up above

So, God of mercy born anew

That came to save the human race
By life anew through saving grace
