It is sometimes very difficult to forgive when you have been hurt deeply. Even more difficult if the circumstances present a continuous pouring into the wound making it difficult to close it up once and for all.
It’s a choice to be made over and over again. A choice to love as God desires despite the pain inflicted. You may not always feel forgiveness, in fact, you may feel resentment and anger, but if it is truly your desire to continue to forgive, God understands your struggle
As people who have experienced abortion perhaps you were pressured to abort orthose you had hoped would be there for you let you down. Perhaps you are having trouble forgiving yourself for believing the lies of abortion.
Pray for the grace to forgive- it is only through His grace that this can be accomplished but it is there waiting for you, to free you over and over and over again as you chose God.
May Our Lady protect us from ourselves and guide us in the way of her Son
