In prayer this morning I was praying,”Lord, have mercy”, and then it hit me ! He ALWAYS has mercy! He is always gazing at us, waiting for us, but we often pass Him by.
We think we have all the answers. We are full of self love and want others to be what we want them to be, but that’s Gods business. To let each person know His will for them and to lead them on the way.
Only He knows hearts- why anyone is how they are.
It is distressing to read comments etc on both ”sides” of the issue. I often feel stuck in the middle. We are not so all knowing and important. None of us.
While we always need to speak His truth in love, we are also called to respect where people may be. We are all on this journey and called to be a sign of His love in the world just as we want a sign of His love..
Lord, have mercy on us!
He already has- we just need to be open to it. He is waiting
