Motivated by their continuing need to make abortion “normal” the folks over at “Shout Your Abortion” have published a new book by Rachel Kessler, and Amelia Bonow, titled, “Abortion is Everything”.
“Abortion is Everything” targets children from the ages of five to eight to do what it has done with millions of women, cloak the truth in lies and brain wash them to believe an evil is a good.
Having had an abortion myself and working in post abortion ministry for 30 years, I have seen the devastation abortion has caused in thousands of lives including my own. I spent years as many of us do, thinking I was the one who was crazy because my abortion bothered me. After all, abortion is a woman’s right, something we are to be grateful for.
No one would acknowledge my feelings of horror and regret, something that still goes on to this day despite countless women coming forward to voice the damage it has done to them emotionally, , and sometimes physically.
Now they’re out to get your children. As one of the few places that address the pain of a sibling, the Entering Canaan ministry has been approached by many who are suffering having found out about a sibling who was aborted. Some justify their parents’ abortion to justify their own birth. Others felt lost and alone wondering why they are here while their sibling is not. Some hold the pain and grief inside of themselves telling no one or living in fear that if they do not agree they will lose their parents’ love. Many experienced an ever-present sense of the sibling who is missing even before they find out about the abortion. And then there are the questions:
· Would my name be the same?
· Would I even be here if that baby were not aborted?
· Was it a brother or a sister?
· Was I wanted?
and being plagued by guilt for being alive while your sibling is not.
Now, to justify their own actions and convience young vulnerable children into thinking abortion is a good, Shout Your Abortion is releasing this book targeting 5–8-year-olds who should not even be burdened with thoughts of abortion, proclaiming it as a “uniquely human superpower.” A power that enables us to “make choices that lead us towards the life we envision.” And “shape our destinies.”
I hate to tell them, but abortion will never be “normal.” Too many of us have found that out the hard way and have experienced the truth of what it is and what it does. There is nothing normal or good about taking the life of your own child. Sadly, the destiny abortion often shapes is not the one we envisioned but one that instead is full of regrets.
Sure, many may live in denial for a time, thinking they made the right decision. They may rationalize and justify citing their success in life as if that justifies killing a child, but for every person that claims it gave them what they wanted in life there are countless others whose lives were thrown off course leaving them unable to fulfill their dreams because of abortions trauma. Women stuck in a spiral of regret, shame, guilt and depression, with some even finding out later that they are unable to have other children.
Yes, some women may talk themselves into believing the living children they have would not have been here if they had not aborted. They can believe that they would not have been able to provide for or love their unborn child. But the truth is abortion is the ultimate failure of love and the reflection of an evil beyond comprehension that lives in your soul whether you are aware of it or not.
“Abortion is Everything” claims abortion “empowers parents and kids to begin rewriting our cultural scripts about abortion at the most foundational level,” and that may very well be true, but the script does not have a fairy tale ending, instead it leaves millions of walking wounded harming our families and our society beyond anything we can envision or our imagination can write.
