Thank you

I have been humbled by the response to the printing of my article on Catholic online.

It is such a great gift to me that people share their experiences and their journey to God  in their post abortive healing.

I just want to thank everyone who shared and tell you all what a tremendous gift you are to me. I am so blessed to have met so many wonderful people over the years. People who have shared their souls and been so humble and such and example of courage to me.

Never give up…one day at a time put yourself into His care and He will do the rest. Our God who is Mercy never fails us, even if we may think at times He is not there. He is always there, loving us and leading us.

There is a great quote by Fr Benedict Groeschel, CFR, one of the founders of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal  http://www.franciscanfriars.com/ and Good Counsel Homes http://www.goodcounselhomes.org of whom Lumina is a separate mission…After Fathers was hit by a car a few years ago he wrote:

"You can make up your mind to trust God and to believe
that out of suffering, he'll bring hope," Groeschel said. "But you
have to struggle to make that decision over and over again. There's no light
switch. A lot of books, including perhaps mine, make it sound too easy. You
make up your mind, and that's it. But I now better understand that you have to
do it, recommit yourself, two or three times a day."

May we all recommit ourselves however long God wills, always trusting in His love for us and His desire for our healing and salvation!
