Call me mentally unstable, oh wait, they already have…
So, according to the latest and greatest research on abortion and mental health, terminating a pregnancy, “does not increase the risk of additional mental health problems”. According to this review by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges an unwanted pregnancy increases the risk of mental health problems but an abortion does not, unless there were mental health problems there to begin with.
"Stressful events such as loosing a job or a relationship" also contribute, according to these people, but, participating in the death of your unborn child should be just fine and dandy.
Are they for real?
Sadly, I can remember a time when I would have believed them. I would have thought, “Yea, I do seem to be the only one suffering, so something must be wrong with me for feeling this way.” I trusted what I thought were the "experts", and, I denied my feelings, (which by the way contributed to the depression). I lived for years in isolation, depression, anxiety and denial, before I found help and validation of my very NORMAL feelings surrounding my abortion. To be honest, it makes me angry to think I actually fell for this stuff, but the trauma of abortion can do that to you.
How is it that a living “unwanted” child, a job or relationship loss cause mental illness, but having your child torn apart, injected with saline or vacuumed out of you does not?
I have to wonder, is society really still buying into this stuff? Are we in such deep denial that the obvious has become impossible to believe? Are groups like Planned Parenthood conditioning us all how to think, and lying us into belief like they did with the blob of tissue stuff, or the lies Roe vs wade were based on?
In the past years more and more post abortive women are coming forward to say that abortion impacted them causing depression, anxiety and a host of other issues, is it possible that they all had prior mental health issues? I think not.
Perhaps we need to do a research study on them…"Does pretending abortion is not a significant event that impacts your mental health mean you had prior mental health issues? " News flash, if anyone has a mental health problem it is those people who think that terminating your child without repricussions is possible…I would never want to be able to do what I did and believe it was okay.
Mentally Unstable? Well, if I am I have a lot of company in the other grieving moms and dads of abortion and I thank God I am part of them ..I would never want to be able to participate inthe deathof my child andnot have it bother me…seems to me that is where the instability is…
